One caring mentor can make all the difference for someone preparing to return home from prison.
Dismas House is proud to partner with the Governor’s Volunteer Mentorship Initiative (VMI), a statewide effort connecting returning citizens with trained volunteer mentors before they’re released from prison. Through this initiative, we’ll serve men at Turney Center and are currently recruiting compassionate volunteers who are ready to encourage, support, and walk alongside someone as they begin a new chapter.
We’re also excited to welcome MC Sammons as Dismas House’s Volunteer Mentorship Initiative Coordinator. If you have questions about the program, MC is happy to help!
