Why Partner with Dismas?
For nearly 50 years, Dismas House of Nashville has served as a beacon of hope for returning citizens desperately looking for a second chance. We have served more than 1,000 of the previously incarcerated. Nationally, almost 70% of former inmates commit additional crimes and are rearrested within three years, and 50% return to prison.
Our vision is to set the national standard for reentry success so that those we serve remain free from incarceration by becoming self-sufficient, contributing members of society.
Our former campus only gave us the capacity to serve 20 clients per year, but our new campus at 2424 Charlotte Avenue allows us to almost triple our capacity to serve more men. We hope to serve 175 men annually.
That’s why we need YOU. The generosity of corporate sponsors is essential to our ability to continue offering life-changing programing to Dismas residents as they transition back into society. We provide a evidence-based process for healing and building that leads to safer communities for everyone.
